Disassembly Remove the propeller(See page 29 Remove the gear case and water pump(See pages 30 and 31 Remove the drain bolt and drain the gear caseNoteIf water is present in the oil, the cause should be determined and correctedRemove the two mrn bolts and remove the propeller shaft holderRemove the anode metal from the gear caseRemove the holder, gear washer, rear bevel gear and 17 mm washer from the propeller shaftRemove the 6203 ball bearing and 17 rnrn water seal from the propeller shaft holder
Pull the pinion shaft out of the gear case, and remove the bevel pinion and pinion washerThen remove the 17 rnm washer and front bevel gearDisconnect the shift rod from the gear case
