4POWER TILT ASSEMBLY
aREMOVAL
1) Remove the following- remove the power tilt motor wire harness from the motor (P13-9)- friction adjusting lever (Tiller handle type only P12-3)mount frame (P 12-5)2) Open the wire band and wire band clip and free the motor wire haness from the right stern bracketthen pull the motor wire harness from the left stern bracket with the motor wire bushing3) Remove the mm screw and ground wire from the power tilt assembly4) Remove the adjusting rod
5) Remove the mm self-locking nut and mm plain washer6) Remove the distance collar and lower cylinder collar7) Tilt up the swivel case, and remove the 15 mm external circlip and upper cylinder pin and remove the power tilt assembly
