BFBD BFS.SD 2Install one of the friction blocks onto the 26 mm stud bolt by aligning the cutout with the boss on the swivel case and facing the metal surface toward the swivel caseReplace the friction blocks as pair when the surface of the friction block is wornClean off grease from the friction surface TOP VIEW FRICTION BLOCK CUTOUT

3Install the friction plate onto the mount frame and loosely connect the two 12 mm flange bolts Do not fully tighten the 12 mm flange bolts at this time
FRICTION PLATE12 mm FLANGE BOLT (2) (loosely connect)
4Make sure the disc surface of the friction blocks are free of grease5Install the remaining friction block onto the 26 mm stud bolt by aligning the cutout with the boss on the swivel case and facing the disc surface toward the friction plate as shown6Make sure the mm nylon washer, steering friction lever, and mm washer are free of grease7Install the mm nylon washer, steering friction lever, and mm washerTurn the steering friction lever to the right side fully, and hold it in this position8Tighten the mm self-locking nut to the specified torque TORQUE: 2.5 Nom (025 kgf-m1.8 Ibf-ft)
