1) Measure the connecting rod big end I.D

28.02028.033 mm11031.1037 in)

Service limit
28.06 mm (1 .105 in)

2) Install the connecting rod and connecting rod cap, and

tighten the connecting rod cap boltsMeasure the connecting rod big end side clearance with the connecting rod facing up as shown using feeler gauge
