BFBD-BFS.SD 2) Stop the engine and remove the engine cover 3) Attach an engine tachometer and restart the engine Follow the tachometer manufacturer's instructions
THROTTLE STOP SCREW
4) After engine speed has stabilized, turn the throttle stop screw to obtain the specified idle speed Specified idle speed in neutral 5) Install the engine cover900 50 min- (rpm)
8FUEL FILTER
Inspection
1) Remove the engine cover2) Check the fuel filter for water accumulation or sedimentIf water or sediment is found, replace the fuel filter
Replacement
A WARNING
Gasoline is highly flammable and explosiveYou can be burned or seriously injured when handling fuel Keep heat, sparks, and flame away Wipe up spills immediately1) Remove the right engine under cover (P3-3 and 4) 2) Pinch the fuel tubes at both sides of the fuel filter with two commercially available hose clips 3) Disconnect the fuel tubes being careful to prevent fuel leakage and remove the fuel filter with the filter suspen sion attached4) Remove the fuel filter from the filter suspension and discard the fuel filter5) Install new fuel filter into the filter suspension so the arrow mark points to the same direction as shown
