BFBC-BFS.SC Adjustment
If the valve clearance adjustment is necessary, proceed as follows: ,) Hold the valve adjusting screw using the valve adjusting wrench and loosen the lock nut 2) Turn the valve adjusting screw to obtain the specified intake and exhaust valve clearances 3) Hold the valve adjusting screw and tighten the lock nut to the specified torque TORQUENm (O.S kgfm, 5.S IbHt) 4) Recheck the valve clearance after tightening the lock nut5) After adjustment, install the removed parts in the reverse order of removalMake sure that the wire harnesses and connectors are set in the place correctly (see pages 2-29 through 2-37 for wire harness and cable routing) THICKNESS GAUGE LOCK NUT,

The pilot screw is fitted with limiter cap that prevents excessive enrichment of the air-fuel mixture in order to comply with emissions regulationsDo not attempt to remove the limiter cap for pilot screw adjustment The limiter cap cannot be removed without breaking the pilot screwPilot screw adjustment must be performed only when it is disassembled (P6-8)
