BFBC-BF9.9C OIL PRESSURE TEST
1} Remove the engine cover and check the engine oil level (P.3-2)2} Disconnect the oil pressure switch wire connector
OIL PRESSURE SWITCH WIRE
3} Remove the oil pressure switch and install commercially available BSPT 18" adapter and an oil pressure gauge that has scale calibrated to maximum of 686981 kPa (710) kgfcm2, 4399 psi}
iNOTICEi
Tighten the adapter to the specified torqueDo not overtighten the adapter to avoid damaging the threads of the crankcaseTORQUE: Nom (0.8 kgf-m, 5.8 IbHt) 4} Run the outboard motor in an outboard test tank with the water at least inches above the antiventilation plateAllow the engine to warm up to normal operating temperature (engine oil temperature 80Cl176F)
