gear housing to motor leg and pull gear housing from motor leg Figure 7 2Remove water pump plate and gasket from gear housing cover3Remove impeller from water pump body
In next step, use tool with blunt rim that will seat on disc 4Remove driveshaft seal and water pump centering disc from pump body by driving disc out from inside pump body Inspection and RepairReplacement parts for the water pump are available individually or in kit form The water pump kit includes new body, sealsimpeller, pin and backp late Inspect and repair the following :
1Inspect water pump impeller, replace if vanes are damaged or worn 2Clean pump body and backplate in solvent3Inspect pump body and water pump backplate for wear or pittingreplace if excessive Reassembly and Installation
