3Install remote control cable bushing and cap on support plate and secure with three (3) screws4Install battery cable grommet and secure with one (1) screw5Install deflection stop with four (4) screws and lockwashers6Install engine cover latch assembly as followsFigure 37 APlace one bearing in each side of shaft bore in support plate BSecure handle to shaft with spring pin and inset handle into support plate CPlace spacerthen wavy washer on shaftFigure 36Removing Latch Assembly DSecure cam to end of shaft with washer, slotted lockwasher and cap screw
2Remove deflection stop by removing four (4) screws and lockwashers securing stop to support plate 3Remove battery cab le grommet by removing screw holding grommet to support plate 4Remove remote contro cab le bushing and cap by removing three (3) screws securing th em to support plate 5Remove starter relay from support plate by removin two (2) screws 6Remove identification plate from support plate by driving out two (2) drive screws DisassemblyFront Motor Leg CoverBUSH1'NG
