Starting CircuitTroubleshooting of the starter circuit is systematic check beginning with the battery Once the battery has been checked and testeduse Special Tool No 2951 circuit tester to trace the starting circuitFigure 2
DESCRIPTION
The electric starting system consists of six (6) major componentsbattery, starter motor, starter relayinterlock switchignition switch and choke soleno id
Prior to tracing circuit, check neutral interlock switch for proper adjustment
All tests of starting circuit must be made with motor in neutralRefer to Figure 2STARTER RELAY

CHOKE SOLENOID

1Connect 2951 circuit tracer ground clip to engine ground .CD 2Place probe on positive battery cable terminal of relay ATester lights, proceed to 3
