cracks Inspect lead wire for worn or cracked nsu lation 2Inspect studs and shock mounts for wear, cracking 9Route red, white and blue lead wires up and over power head, under flywheel and down to termin al block Connect leads to terminal block (as listed on decal on exhaust port cover)
Installation1Install three (3) shock mounts on power head and torque to 40 inIbs(46 kg cm)
Wires should be routed and dressed so that they will not get in contact with the flywheel
Positive terminal (+) on coil must be toward outsideground terminal (GND) toward inside 2Place coil on C-D unit, install coil clamp over coil and secure with three (3) screws3Place gray lead from C-D unit on positive terminal (+) on coil Secure with lockwasher and nutFigure 55 4Place black lead from C-D unit and black lead from distributor bracket to coil on ground terminal (GND) on ignition coil and secure with lockwasher and nut5Place C-D unit with ignition coil on studs Install three (3) stop nuts and torque to 90 in Ibs(105 kg cm)(BOTTOM)BL"-ACK I:EA[;)-(:f.OP) UNIT DISTRIBUTOR
