7Turn ignition switch to "onorrunposition 8Loosen lock nut on distributor control rod Figure 39 Turn control rod until reading on voltmeter goes from voltage to battery voltage While holding control rod, tighten lock nut to secure rod in position 9Recheck for proper adjustment by touching distributor belt and watch read ing on voltmeter Needle on voltmeter should go from voltage to battery voltageor the reverse Timing Method #2 Timing Light C-D MODULE
DescriptionThe C-D module is sealed unitIt contains storage capacitor, full wave rectifier and silicon controlled rectifier (switch)The module is mounted on studded shock mounts to the power headRemoval1Disconnect redwhite and blue leads from terminal block (to C-D unit)Pull harness carefully through to other (C-D) side of engine
