CCycle "TEST" button on tester "up and down" to simulate breaker point action (approximately 2-3 times per second) while SLOWLY turning indicator knob down scale until indicator light on tester goes on DReset indicator circuit by pressing "RESET" button Indicator light should go out Test reading values shown with respective voltage are the minimum values for C-D units
Glf values are lower than what is shown above, reposition small "GROUND" lead wire of tester from power head directly to C-D unitBe certain to scratch through paint on C-D unit with lead wire clip Repeat test as outlined in steps through FIf values remain the sameconsider C-D unit as defective and replace itIf values increase to minimum values or aboveCD unit is not properly groundedCorrect this condition and re-check unit with "GROUND" lead wire of tester back on power head as outlined in steps through F
If indicator light does not go out after pressing "RESET" button, proceed no furtherC-D unit is self-triggering and should be replaced ECycle test button minimum of timesIndicator light must go on every timeIf light does not go on every timeC-D unit is intermittent and must be replaced FReturn indicator knob back to "100" setting and repeat test as outlined in steps through EReadings should repeat within points Compare readings with chart below
