Reassembly and Installation1Instali iuei pump cover as follows:
valves are positioned as shown in figures
When preSSing valves in, be sure that only the outer rim is in contact with the installation tool or damage could result3Install fuel pump body as follows :
AApply sealant to threads of impulse (air) hose fittingSpecial Tool NoT 8955 Install fitting in cover and tighten securelyBInstall gasket and fuel pump coveron power head and secure with four (4) screws Figure 7CInstall impulse hose on lower fitting on cover
APosition fuel pump gasket and diaphragm on fuel pump bodyFigure 9

2Install fuel pump valve as follows: AApply sealant to threads of fuel line fitting Special Tool NoT 8955Install fitting in fuel pump body and tighten securelyBPlace fuel pump valve gasket on valve seat in fuel pump bodyPlace valve in cavity, spring end firstFigure 8CInstall two (2) screws and tighten securely
