Checking Fuel FlowFirst make sure that there is fresh supply of properly mixed fuel in the tank Open the vent of the fuel tank cap and prime the motor by squeezing the prime bulb When the carburetor bowl is full of fuel, pressure will be felt on the priming bulbNo Fuel to Carburetor BowlIf the carburetor bowl is dry, check the line for obstruction Disconnect the fuel line from the fuel pump Direct the fuel line into suitable container and squeeze the bulb Fuel should come out if the line is not obstructedDisconnect the fuel pump to bottom carburetor line from the bottom carburetor and direct line into suitable containerSqueeze the bulb no fuel is reaching the combustion chamberIf the carburetor fuel bowl is known to be fullbut the spark plug is dry, then the carburetor jets may be plugged FloodingA wet spark plug means that the motor has been over-chokedGo through the procedure for starting flooded motorDisconnect the fuel supply line from the motor, remove all spark plugs and spin the flywheel several times to remove the excess fuel from the combustion chambers Reconnect the fuel line, replace and dry the spark plugsStart the motor in the normal manner
