CAUTION Be careful removing clutch assemblyCover detent ball and spring with cloth They are under tension and may fly outRETAINING pLATE

5Pull clutch assembly (bearingclutch gear, and clutch shaft) from housingRemove detent ball and spring 6Disassemble handle by removing collar, fel washer, indicator (tape) and carefully prying cap off top of handle7Remove swivel by removing snap ring holding swivel to housing

Inspection and Repair
1Clean all metal parts in solvent4Remove throttle gear assembly as follows2Check clutch gear and shaft for wear3Check throttle gear for wear4Check detent spring 5Check both throttle arm and clutch arm 6Discard felt washer7Examine plastic parts for cracking 8Check housing for cracks or other damage
