CSecure exhaust tube to spacer plate with four (4) slotted hex screws and torque to 70 in Ibs(80 kg cm)Dlnstall exhaust tube seal on exhaust tube 4Install power head to motor leg as followsAApply sealant to sealing surface of motor leg 7Install cylinder drain cover assembly as follows :
AInstall gasket (cylinder drain reed plate)reed
plate, gasket (cylinder drain cover)then cylinder drain cover BSecure assembly to power head with six (6) screws CApply sealant to threads of fitting Special Tool NoT 2962-1Install fitting on cover and position barb at 12 o'clock

BInstall power head on motor leg CEngage crankshaft with driveshaft by gently turning propeller while engine is in forward or reverse gearDSecure power head to motor leg with lockwashers anq six (6) screws (three (3) on each side of spacer plate); and with six (6) stop nuts and plain washers on studs (on under side) 5Install gearsh ift arm and interlock cam Secure with nut6Install transfer port covers as followsFigure 58 AInstall gasketsBInstall upper transfer port cover CInstall bottom transfer port cover with bracket
