1Internal parts have close toleranceso it is most important that all parts, the work area, and your hands are clean2With new or rehoned cylinders, the bores should be thoroughly scrubbed with warm soapy water using round bore brush Dry thoroughly 3Follow torque valves closely when tightening screwsThreads in aluminum castings are often damaged by over tightening4When heat is called for in assembling press fit parts, heat gun is advisedOpen flame destroys protective coatings and paint5Coat cylinder walls with oil6Use only specified gasketsInstallationPiston AssemblyINTAKE BAFFLE SIDE

5Push alignment pin through connecting rod Then install other spacer with small end towards inside of piston6Push alignment pin through other spacer and through piston pin bore on other side of piston 7Install shim bar with end marked "310" between large end of first spacer installed and connecting rod
