1Remove hex nut securing green wire to terminal post of choke solenoid 2Remove two (2) hex head screws securing solenoid to bracket and remove clamp Remove choke solenoid by pulling it away from plunger3Remove band securing wire to solenoid Testing and RepairEquipment: Ohmmeter (R Scale)

1Place positive test lead on terminal of solenoid

ECheck choke operation by pushing down on plunger with screwdriver until it bottoms in the solenoidThe choke shutter should only be open enough to allow the paper to be pulled outFigure 28 If not, reposition solenoid and recheck
