Ends of interlock switch are differentUpper end has two slots and the tab has sharper bend Figure 23 1Connect yellow (shorter) lead to bottom terminaland yellow black stripe (longer) lead to upper terminalFigure 23 2Install switch to bracket and secure with two (2) screws Figure 23

Always disconnect battery when working on engine 1Disconnect battery2Remove two (2) larger hex nuts and remove starter cablebattery cable and one lead wire 3Remove two (2) smaller hex nuts and remove two (2) leads4Remove two (2) screws securing starter relay to support plate and remove one lead wire 5Remove starter relayTesting and RepairEquipment: Ohmeter (use Scale) Figure 25Installing Starter Relay
