3Connect battery leads to battery terminals

1Disconnect battery leads from battery terminals 10Connect lead wire (from starter relay) to terminal on starter motor11 Install starter on engine, lining up thru bolts with holes in upper starter bracket12Place ground lead from regulator on rear thru bolt and install two (2) stop nuts Install screw securing lower starter bracket to crankcase Tighten securely13Con nect battery leads to battery2Remove two (2) screws securing interlock switch to interlock switch bracket3Remove two (2) screws, lockwashers and lead wires from terminals on interlock switch and remove switch Figure 22
