7Turn ignition switch to "onor "run" position 8Loosen lock nut on distributor control rod Figure 39Turn control rod until reading on voltmeter goes from voltage to battery voltage While holding control rod, tighten lock nut to secure rod in position9Recheck for proper adjustment by touching distributor belt and watch reading on voltmeterNeedle on voltmeter should go from voltage to battery voltage, or the reverse Timing Method #2 Timing Light C-D MODULE
