LUBRICATION POINTS GeneralTo insure proper operation of this motor, all points requiring lubrication must be serviced with the correct lubricant at the proper time intervalRefer to Table and proceed as follows: Gear HousingLubricant Level CheckPlace motor in normal operating position
Disconnect spark plug high tension leads to prevent accidental starting 1Inspect for water contamination as follows:
ALoosen, DO NOT REMOVE, gear housing drain

plug(single piece gear housing) Figure or fill plug (two piece gear housing) Figure 3BAllow small amount of lubricant to drain If water is presentit will drain before the lubricant
