GENERAL
The information in this subsection involves the removal of motor leg and disassembly, reassembly and installation of the swivel bracket assembly1Position new upper shock mounts in steering arm Push in until they are seated properly UPPER SHOCK MOUNTS STEERING ARM

DESCRIPTION
The swivel bracket assembly is attached to the motor leg and provides four main functionsIt secures the motor to the boat; it swivels, by which steering the boat is accomplished; it provides trim adjustment for better boat performance; and it allows the motor to be tilted up for transportThe steering arm and shock mounts are considered to be part of this assembly and are included in the service procedures
