CAUTION
When adjusting the idle needle, turn carefully and gentlyDo not force needle into seat1Turn idle needle clockwise until it seats in the carburetor2Open idle needle one (1) turn counterclockwise 3Start motor and allow to warm up to operating temperature Turn throttle to "SHIFT" position Shift motor into "FORWARD" gear and close throttle (turn clockwise) to the lowest reliable throttle setting 4Slowly turn idle needle counterclockwise until motor speed decreases and operation becomes rough due to overrich mixture (Note adjustment position 5Slowly turn idle needle clockwise, motor operation will become smooth and speed will increase Continue turning adjustment clockwise until motor speed slows or misfires from the too lean mixture 6Turn idle screw to mid point between settings noted in steps and 535
