ARemove cotter pin, propeller nut, propeller pin and propeller from propeller shaft
1-1Removing Gear Housing
CApply bead of Sealant (Special Tool T8983) to gear housing as shown in figure 3DInsert driveshaft in motor leg while turning propeller shaft or crankshaft until driveshaft splines engage crankshaft splinesSee figure 4
BRemove shift coupling cover from motor leg and loosen shift coupler screwSee figure 1
