SECTION IV (Con't 1-2Installing Engine Covers
AInstall engine cover lower by reversing the procedures outlined in Step I
CUse spanner wrench (Special Tool T2993) to hold flywheel while removing flywheel screwSee figure 4
BInstall two screws, lockwashers and hex nuts securing engine cover lower to rear mounting bracket and tighten securelyCSecure engine cover lower to support plate with four (4) remaining screwsSee figure for location of lower screwDThread starter rope through hole in upper engine cover and place cover on engineERoute starter rope through starter handle and retainerTie knot in the end of the starter ropePush retainer into starter handleUntie knot between cover and starter housing
FSecure engine cover upper to lower cover with two screws in flange at rear of cover and one forward (long) screwTighten securelyGInstall fuel shutoff valve knob on shutoff valveHInstall fuel tank cap assembly on fuel tankFigure 4Removing Flywheel Screw DThread knock-off screw (Special Tool T8998) into crankshaft to within two turns of the flywheelEPlace flywheel removal tool (T2989) between flywheel and top of powerhead at rear of powerhead as shown in figure 5ELECTRICAL
