HRemove two (2) screws securing remote throttle cable bracket to support plateIUnscrew nut securing shorting switch to support plateRemove shorting switchJDrive spring pin from shift arm

ARemove shift rod coupling as outlined in Section XIII, paragraph 25-1BRemove lower unit as outlined in Section IX, paragraph 1-1CPull shift rod intermediate from motor leg27-2 Installing Shift Rod Intermediate

and remove arm from shift control shaftPull shaft from support plateKUnscrew choke knob from choke
