BPlace spring half way on post with center arm of spring toward center of head assemblyCurved portion of center arm of spring should point toward brush retainerCTwist spring counterclockwise until center arm can be hooked over brush retainerSlide spring onto post as far as it will goDUse needle nose pliers to twist top end of spring clockwise until it can be hooked over end of postESwing center arm of spring counterclockwise and ins brushes in retainersFInstall armature in framePlace wavy washer and thrust washer on commutator end of armature (see figure 5)
