SECTION IX (Cont T3431) as shown in figure 5BPlace propeller shaft bearing in bearing cage and gently tap into place with block of wood or plastic malletDRemove nut located behind bevel gear-rear in gear housing-lowerERemove nut on stud in front of gear shift rod sealFSeparate gear housing-upper from gear housing-lowerGRemove driveshaft seal by inserting driveshaft bearing remover (Special Tool T8964) in bearing from undersidePress out bearing just enough to remove driveshaft seal (see figure 6)
