5-1 Removing Propeller Shaft Bearing and Seal
ARemove propeller shaft bearing cage as outlined in Section IX, paragraph 4-1!
BRemove bearing by tapping bearing cage as shown in figure 3CPry seal from bearing cage as shown in figure 4
Removing Bearing Cage Assembly
in groove of bearing cageBApply grease (Special Tool T2961) between lips of propeller shaft seal and install bearing cage assembly aligning groove of inner race of propeller shaft bearing with ball in propeller shaftNOTE
