SECTION IX (Cont housing-upper and lift pump body assembly from lower unitDRemove water pump impeller from pump bodyERemove driveshaft seal from pump body by driving same out from inside pump bodyFRemove impeller drive pin from driveshaftGRemove water pump back plate from lower unit3-2 Installing Water Pump
housing so that slot is towards the front on the port sideCAUTION
Holes in back plate will not line up exactly if plate is installed upside downDInstall impeller drive pin in drive shaftESlide pump assembly down driveshaft aligning slot of impeller with drive pin on driveshaftFApply Anti-Seize (Special Tool T2987-1) to threads of the four (4) flat head screws and secure pump to gear housing-upperGInstall water line seal in seal bore of pump body making sure that tabs on seal are seated in holes in pump bodyHInstall lower unit as outlined in Section IX, paragraph 1-24PROPELLER SHAFT BEARING CAGE 05-24 PROPELLER SHAFT BEARING CAGE SEAL 05-25
