13-1 Removing Gear Housing Gasket
ARemove gear housing-upper as outlined in Section Vln, paragraph 12-1BRemove gear housing gasket from parting line of gear housing-upper and-lower13-2 Installing Gear Housing Gasket
ARemove old sealant and pieces of gasket from gasket surfaces of gear housing-upper andlower with putty knifeBWipe gasket surfaces of gear housing with solvent (alcohol, paint thinner, etc to remove any oily film and old sealantCApply sealant (Special Tool T8955) on both sides of gear housing gasket and install on gear housing-lowerDInstall gear housing-upper as outlined in Section VIII, paragraph 12-214GEAR HOUSING LOWER COMPLETE
