SECTION VII (Cont BPull hose and ferrule from adapter on each end of prime bulb5-2 Installing Prime Bulb

ADip ends of fuel line that will be connected to adapters on prime bulb in hot water (180 o-200F until they become soft and pliableBInstall ferrules on ends of each hose and push on adapters of prime bulb6PUDDLE DRAIN HOSE ASSEMBLY

Position of Diaphragm

BRemove two (2) screws and lift out central valve4-2 Installing Fuel Pump Valve

Removing Puddle Drain Assembly

AInstall valve with gasket underneathConcave side should face engine so fuel can leave main pump chamber through this valve (see figure 3)
AUse hose clamp pliers (Special Tool T8900) to slide hose clamps from fittings on underside of crankcase cover and on bottom of transfer port coverRemove hose from fittingsCAUTION

Do not use T8900 hose clamp pliers to pull hose off fittings because pliers can puncture hoseBIf hose assembly is functioning correctly, it should be possible to blow through hose from crankcase cover end, but not from transfer port cover endIf otherwise, replace valve or hose6-2 Installing Puddle Drain Assembly
