1Pull spark plug lead through stator plate and remove coil assembly6-2 Installing Coil

ERemove stator from stator ring as outlined in Section VI, paragraph 3-1FPry lip of coil wedge spring up from coil laminations as shown in figure 6
APosition new coil in front of laminations so that spark plug lead enters coil at the upper left, toward the center of magneto (see figure 4)BPlace coil wedge spring in coil with small lip of springfacingtop of laminationsCInstall coil with wedge spring halfway on laminationsThen route spark plug lead wire as original wasDPress coil on laminations until wedge spring snaps into place at rear of coilSnap lip of spring over front edge of coil (edge toward center of magneto)Bend bottom lamination over rear of coil (see figure 5)EConnect coil ground wire (located at bottom of coil) to mounting screw of breaker pointFConnect wire from top of coil to insulated terminal on breaker point (see figure 4)
