SECTION IV (Cont 4Re-install "vent" nyltite washerplug and 6If there is no pressure drop, then assume the lower unit is o.kand water was from condensation in lower unit7Remove pressure test adapter from gear housing8Install "vent" plug and nyltite washer in gear housing and tighten securelyII ELECTRICAL
2-1 Spark Plugs

5Remove nozzle of gear lube tube and install "fill" plug and nyltite washerCIf water is present and it will drain prior to gear lube, proceed as follows: 1Tighten "fill" plug in gear housing securely and remove "vent" plug from gear housing2Thread adapter of pressure tester (Special Tool T8950) into "vent" hole of gear housingTighten adapter securelyCAUTION

ARemove spark plugs with 1316 inch box end wrench or socketBInspect plugs for conditionClean or replace plugs if necessaryCCheck electrode gap on plugs with wire type feeler gaugeReset to .030 inchBefore setting spark plug gap, file center electrode flat then make adjustment by bending ground (side) electrodeDRe-install plugs and torque to 120 to 180 inch pounds2-2 Flywheel
