_ MOTOR LEG AND SWIVEL BRACKET ASSEMBLY
GENERAL
This SUbsection deals with the removal, disassembly reassembly and installation of the motor leg and swivel bracket assemblySHOCK MOUNT COVER (ONE HALF)

DESCRIPTION
The swivel bracket assembly is attached to the motor leg and has four main functionsIt secures the motor to the boat; it swivels, which allows the boat to be steered; it provides trim adjustment for better boat performance; and it allows the motor to be tilted up for transport

SHOCK MOUNTS
Vibration of the motor is partly absorbed by six (6) shock mountsIn time, the rubber shock mounts and packing can dry out, crack, or otherwise lose their ability to dampen motor vibration BRemove lower thrust shock mount by removing two (2) screws that hold it to motor leg Figure 2
