5Install pawl plate assembly as follows :
APlace pawl plate spring over housing arbor with ends painted up and towards gap between pawl guides BPlace pawl plate on arbor with pawl lever side toward pulley and slots over ends of pawl plate springFigure 9C Place shim(s) on pawl plate and secure with retainer and three (3) screwsFigure 9
