Reserving these brushes will make motor run in reverse 5Install brush holder, brush springsand ground brush leads and holderInsert insulated brushes in holder6Insert armature shaft into end cap bearing Figure 19
1Lubricate the armature shaft with one drop of SAE No10 oilLubricate pinion gear helix on armature shaft with 2961 lubricant2Assemb le thrust washer, drive end cap, pinion gear, springspring collar, and new locknut on armature shaftTorque locknut to 20-25 ftIbs(2 .73.4 kg m) and install dust cover3Assemble armature to bodyAlign the mark on the body to the mark on the drive end cap Figure 17
