3Clip test leads togetherPress red button and turn meter set knob until meter point lines up with set scales on right-hand side of meterRelease red button and disconnect leadsThis sets the meter4Connect small red test lead to condenser lead 5Connect small condenserblack test lead to body of
6Press the red button and observe meter pointer on theCONDENSER CAPACITY" scale 7Condenser capacity should be 16 minimum to 20 maximum If not, replace the condenser8Turn selector knob toOFF" and test condenser for leakage or short Test Condenser for Leakage and ShortTo perform this test, proceed as follows :

Leave test leads connected as shown Figure 6Figure 5Removing CondenserTest Condenser Capacitor
1Turn selector knob toCONDENSER LEAKAGE AND SHORT" position 2Press red button and observe meter pointer for at least 15 secondsPointer should move to the right and return all the way to the left on theCONDENSER LEAKAGE OR SHORT" scale If pointer does not returnreplace condenser3Turn selector knob toOFF", remove tester leads and test condenser series resistanceTest Condenser Series ResistanceTo perform his test, proceed as follows :
