3Defective C-D box

3A Perform Test #4 (CUnit Out put to #1 Ignition Coil Primary Winding) If unit checks badreplace C- unitIf unit checks goodproceed to Step 38 38Perform Test #5 (C-D Unit Output to #2 Ignition Coil Primary Winding) If C-D unit checks badreplace C-D unitIf C-D unit checks good, replace both spark plugsIf engine still does not fire, replace both ignition coils
If tests thru above have been completed and both cylinders still do not fire, there is possibility that the ignition switch could be shorted outTo check thisremove either one of them" terminal lead wires from the back of the ignition switch If both cylinders now firereplace the ignition switch
Ignition coil continuity can also be checked as follows :
Primary Continuity with ohmmeter on scale, attach positive lead to terminal post and negative lead to groundD.Cresistance in ohms should be .03 .05Secondary Continuity With ohmmeter on scale, attach positive lead to terminal post and negative lead to end of secondary wire (in sparkie boot)D.C resistance in ohms should be 230 260
