NOTE The pressed in second stage valve can be removed using piece of metal with "hookedendthe pressed in first stage valve can be removed by tapping it with punch from the hole on the reverse side BRemove fuel line outlet fitting from fuel pump bodyInspection and Repair
1Discard fuel sediment bowl gasket, fuel pump gasket and fuel pump valve gasketif any wear is noted 2Clean parts in solvent3Inspect fuel pump bowl screen for damage 4Check diaphragm for holesbreaks or excessive stretching Hold up to light and check for pin holes
CAUTION

There must not be any leaks in fuel system When in doubt replace diaphragmReassembly and Installation
