SERVICING Removal and Disassembly
1Loosen knurled screw on sediment bowl and remove bowl2Remove screen and gasket Figure 3

TESTING
Conduct this test on the motor in test tank or on the boat1Remove hose connecting carburetor to fuel pumpFigure 22Connect fuel pressure gauge between the carburetor and fuel pump Figure 3Removing Bowl, ScreenGasket
Before testingloosen fuel tank vent on cap to release any pressure that may have built up
3Slide hose clamp on hose to fuel tank down about one inch from sediment bowl with hose clamp pliersSpecial Tool NoT 8900 Pull hose off sediment bowl
Fuel tank should not be more than 24 inches (61 cm) below fuel pump Start motor and observe the gaugePump pressure should read as outlined in Table 1
