CAUTION THROTTLE ARM BOLT

Be careful removing clutch assembly Cover detent ball and spring with cloth They are under tension and may fly out5Pull clutch assembly (bearingclutch gearand clutch shaft) from housing Remove detent ball and spring 6Disassemble handle by removing collar, felt washer, indicator (tape) and carefully prying cap ff top of handle Remove swivel by removing snap ring hold ing swivel to housing

Inspection and Repair1Clean all metal parts in solvent 4Remove throttle gear assembly as follows2Check clutch gear and shaft for wear3Check th ratt le gear for wear4Check detent spring5Check both throttle arm and clutch arm 6Discard felt washer 7Examine plastic parts for cracking 8Check housing for cracks or other damage
