3Install remote control cable bushing and cap on support plate and secure with three (3) screws4Install battery cable grommet and secure with one (1) screw5Install deflection stop with four (4) screws and lockwashers6Install engine cover latch assembly as follows: Figure 37APlace one bearing in each side of shaft bore in support plate BSecure handle to shaft with spring pin and inset handle into support plateCPlace spacerthen wavy washer on shaft Figure 36Removing Latch Assembly DSecure cam to end of shaft with washer, slotted lockwasher and cap screw
2Remove deflection stop by removing four (4)
screws and lockwashers securing stop to support plate3Remove battery cab le grommet by removing

screw holding grommet to support plate4 Remove remote control cable bushing and cap
by removing three (3) screws securing them to support plate5Remove starter relay from support plate by
removing two (2) screws 6Remove identification plate from support plate
by driving out two (2) drive screwsDisassemblyFront Motor Leg Cover1Remove four (4) screws securing air intake baffle from front leg cover Remove air intake baffle
