2Remove spacer plate and upper cylinder exhaust gasket by removing four (4) stop nuts and washers securing them to power head Figure 20 4Remove crankshaft bearing cage assembly by removing four (4) screws that secure it to power headand prying cage offFigure 21 5Press crankshaft bearing seal out of bearing cage 6Remove bearing cage seal from groove on top of power head
Keep track of bolts and screws as they are removed Note different lengths: Bolts or screws are longer because of different boss heights and or because they are used to secure brackets
Two (2) parting line screws on other (cylinder head) side not shown in Figure 22 7Remove eight (8) main bearing bolts and twenty one (21) crankcase parting line screws Figure 22
