Heavy Load TestThis test is performed to make sure the battery can deliver current under load Proceed as follows : 1Connect battery tester to the batteryand follow the manufacturer's instructions2Discharge the battery under fixed loadatthree times the ampere-hour rating for approximately 15 secondsthen read the terminal Voltage 3If the battery is in satisfactory conditionthe terminal voltage reading should remain above volts 4If the terminal voltage falls below this value, the battery is either defective or it is not fully charged
