Starting CircuitTroubleshooting of the starter circuit is systematic check beginning with the battery Once the battery has been checked and tested, use Special Tool NoT 2951 circuit tester to trace the starting circuitFigure 2
DESCRIPTION
The electric starting system consists of six (6) major components: battery, starter motor, starter relay, interlock switch, ignition switch and choke solenoid
Prior to tracing circuit, check neutral interlock switch for proper adjustment
All tests of starting circuit must be made with motor in neutralRefer to Figure 2CHOKE SOLENOID STARTER RELAY
