Cleaning and InspectionUse brush or compressed air to clean the stator windings, poles and laminations Clean dirty pole laminations with No400 or finer sandpaperInspect for loose connections or burnt insulation at the point where the lead wires connect to poles 3Remove three (3) screws securing regulatorrectifier to power head
Cleaning and InspectionVisually inspect bakelite body for cranksCheck terminals for looseness and corrosionRemove corrosion with file or emery cloth Installation1Install regulator rectifier with three (3) screws
