(BOTTOM) NITBLACK TO DISTRIBUTOR
2Disconnect two (2) black lead wires from (GND) terminal stud on coil by removing nut3Remove boot from coil and pull high tension lead

wire from coil4Remove one (1) hex head screw securing coil clamp and two (2) fill head screws to C-D bracket
5Remove coil by turning and lifting it up out of

bracket
Inspection and Repair1Clean coil with dry rag Inspect all wires for worn or cracked insulation

Installation6 Install high tension lead wire in coil and secure

with boot 7
1Install rubber band on top and bottom of part of coil that goes under clamp Figure 57
Route white wire with black stripe down behind towershaft and up to white terminal on distributor Secure with hex nut
8 Connect ground lead (from ignition coil) to distributor bracket Route redwhite and blue lead wires up and over
